Insulation piercing clamp for LV line branches and connection of surge arresters TTD 1 PROTECT New
Application:
It is used to simultaneously make a branch with an insulated wire (Cu or Al) from the main insulated LV line (Cu or Al) and connect a surge arrester (M8 socket).
Construction:
- The body is made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide (GF) with high mechanical strength, resistance to weather conditions and UV radiation
- Completely tight thanks to the rubber seals and cable end cover
- The hot-dip galvanized screw is equipped with a shear head to ensure the correct tightening torque. After shearing the head, the screw can be unscrewed
- High electrical efficiency with low connection resistance
- Easy to assemble and safe to use
- The terminal is Class A (tested with short circuit currents)
- The terminal is Class 1 – dielectric resistance 6 kV/1 min in water
- Meets the requirements of the standards: PN-EN 50483-1:2009, PN-EN 50483-4:2009
