Quality in the group: main challenges

Since its foundation in 1955, the quality of products and services provided to customers has been the focus of Sicame Group. Thanks to this approach, the group has ensured its rapid and stable development. The first certification introducing the quality management system took place in 1993 and since then the vast majority of companies in Sicame Group have certified their quality assurance systems in accordance with the ISO 9001 standard. The successful transition from the ISO 9001:2008 quality management system to the ISO 9001:2015 system clearly confirms the desire to increase the satisfaction of Sicame Group’s customers.

Quality management

The companies that make up Sicame Group cooperate with each other to improve their processes, thanks to which the synergy effect facilitates the development towards “QSE” (Quality, Safety, Environment). This process is carried out through:

The partnership agreement signed in 2009 with AFNOR Certification (French Association française de normalisation – Certification) committed to harmonizing the certification of companies belonging to the Sicame Group worldwide. This allowed the implementation of the “QSE” policy throughout Sicame Group while maintaining the specificity of each company.

Energy management

In the near future, faced with the challenge of increasing energy efficiency in a world where energy resources will become scarcer and therefore more expensive, the ISO 16001 standard will enable Sicame Group’s energy policy to develop in line with the environmental protection concepts associated with the ISO 14001 standard.
