Ribbon-resin pass-through type J3SI 24 CPI (paper-paper)

Application:
Joint designed for connecting and repairing three-core paper-insulated cable type H(A)Kny, H(A)KnFtA, H(A)KnFty, H(A)KnFpy, H(A)KnFpA with rated voltage of 8.7/15 kV and 12/20 kV. 

Construction:
  • Connection of working cores using thick-walled, pressed or screw connectors with a partition
  • Reconstruction of proper insulation using crinkled, insulating impregnated paper
  • Reconstruction of the semiconducting screen using crinkled, semiconductive impregnated paper
  • Connection of lead and steel armours using springs with constant pressure force and a 50 mm2 tinned copper braid, secured with EPR tape, protecting against resin penetration into the connection
  • Seals made of mastic and EPR tapes block moisture during operation of the device
  • Reconstruction of the external coating by means of epoxy resin injection using the injection sleeve included in the kit
Properties:
  • Efficient and uncomplicated installation
  • Making a sleeve without the need to use an injection gun and heat sources, e.g. a gas burner
  • Two types of joints for a wide range of core cross-sections
  • Laying directly in the ground or in cable ducts
  • The sleeve is adapted to work vertically, horizontally, and on an arc
Composition:
  • The set is a complete set for three wires. The plastic packaging contains all the necessary elements to make a sleeve connection along with assembly instructions and material specifications
  • The set does not include connectors for connecting working wires. Connectors can be ordered additionally
