Straight connector type CSD 250
Application:
Screened straight connector head (180°) with capacitive measuring point designed for terminating and connecting single-core polyethylene insulated cables with a copper wire screen of type YH(A)KXS, XH(A)KXS, XUH(A)KXS, XRUH(A)KXS* with a rated voltage of 6/10 kV, 8.7/15 kV and 12/20 kV with switchboards, transformers, motors, equipped with insulator bushings, connectors and type A sockets.

Construction:
- Termination of the working core with a thick-walled, tight, pressed tip with a pin
- Control of the electromagnetic field and reconstruction of the outer sheath and cable insulation using an integrated UV-resistant, slide-on prefabricated element with a constant contact force on the cable insulation
Properties:
- Long-term current – 250 A
- Daily alternating current (8 h in a 24 h period) – 300 A
- Waterproof and mechanically resistant to external factors
- The head is adapted to work and operate in vertical, horizontal and intermediate positions, as well as in indoor or outdoor conditions
- Thanks to the use of a prefabricated element with a conductive rubber top layer connected to ground, the head is fully shielded and safe for direct touch
- Efficient and uncomplicated installation
- Manufacturing the head without the need to use heat sources, e.g. a gas burner
- Installation directly in the field, in transformer stations, in switchboards or in the workshop
Composition:
- The set is a complete set for three wires. The cardboard packaging contains all the necessary elements to make the head along with assembly instructions and material specifications
- The set includes terminals for return and working wires

[CSD – 250] = Straight connector head 250 A, for polyethylene cable with a rated voltage [24] = 12/20 kV and insulation diameter[D6] = from 25.4 to 29.0 mm and a working core with a cross-section [120] = 120 mm2.
