Our Social Values and Sustainability
Since its inception, the Sicame Group has focused on development in line with fundamental social values, respecting the fundamental rights of all employees. When operating internationally, we comply with the rules and regulations in line with the conventions of the International Labor Organization (ILO), the guidelines of the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) for international enterprises and the principles set out in the UN Global Compact.
In 2007, we formally adopted an international agreement with trade unions that defines our key social values:
Fundamental Rights: Ensuring and respecting the fundamental rights of workers.
Equal Opportunities: Promoting equality in the workplace.
Freedom of employment choice Respect for the freedom to make career decisions.
Prohibition of child labour Combating child labour.
Social dialogue: Supporting communication between employees and management.
Health and safety conditions: Ensuring safe and hygienic working conditions.
As a member of the ETHIC movement, we commit to:

We strive for harmonious development that meets the needs of the current generation without limiting the opportunities of future generations. In practice, this means:
Social Policy: Analyzing the impact of our actions on society.
Economic policy: Monitoring economic performance.
Environmental Policy: Assessing and minimizing our impact on the environment.
As part of sustainable development, we encourage our subsidiaries to implement :
Occupational health and safety management systems: Continuous improvement of working conditions in line with our social and ethical values.
Environmental management systems: Optimization of production processes to reduce environmental impact and improve the life cycle of our products.
These initiatives are an extension of our quality standards. Currently, ten companies in our group are ISO 14001 certified, and our goal is to extend this standard to all subsidiaries in the coming years.
The safety of our employees and customers is our priority. That is why we constantly invest in modern technologies and training to ensure the highest safety standards in every aspect of our business.
