Heat shrinkable through type JUPTH…RSM (plastic-plastic)

Application:
Joint designed for connecting single-core cables in polyethylene insulation type YH(A)KX(S), XH(A)KXS, XUH(A)KXS, XRUH(A)KXS, NA2XS(F)2Y with rated voltage of 8.7/15 kV and 12/20 kV. Certificate of conformity for compliance with standards PN-HD 629.1 S2:2006 and PN-HD 629.1 S2:2006/A1:2008.
Construction:
  • Connection of the working core using a thick-walled, screw-type connector
  • Reconstructing the semi-conductive screen on the connector with semi-conductive heat shrink tubing
  • Reconstruction of the joint insulation using a shrunk three-layer heat shrink prefabrication performing the following functions: field control, reconstruction of insulation and semiconductive screen
  • Reconstruction of the return wire using a tinned copper braid. Connection of the return wires of the cables using a mechanical connector and a tinned copper braid
  • Reconstruction of the outer coating using heat shrink tubing
