Heat shrink overhead type EUETH
Application:
Head designed for terminating single-core cables in polyethylene insulation type YH(A)KXS, XH(A)KX(S), XUH(A)KXS, XRUH(A)KXS with rated voltage of 8.7/15 kV, 12/20 kV.
Construction:
- Termination of the working core with a thick-walled, sealed, pressed or screw terminal
- Control of the electromagnetic field using a control lobe
- Sealing the cable end and return wire with sealing mastic
- Reconstruction of insulation and outer coating using thick-walled heat shrink tubing with sheds, resistant to UV and tracking currents
Properties:
- Efficient and uncomplicated installation
- The head is adapted to work in vertical, horizontal and intermediate positions
- Mounting directly in the field, in transformer stations, on poles or in the workshop
- Performing a voltage test and putting the cable into operation immediately after completed assembly
Composition:
- The set is a complete set for three wires. The cardboard packaging contains all the necessary elements to make the head along with assembly instructions and material specifications
- The set does not include terminals for working cores. Terminals can be ordered additionally. The set with terminals includes the designation CM
