Insulation piercing clamp for surge arresters T1 PROTECT New
Application::
It is used to make electrical connections between insulated conductors of the main LV line (Al or Cu) and surge arresters (branch).
Construction:
- The body is made of glass fibre reinforced polyamide with high mechanical strength and resistance to weather conditions
- Dielectric resistance 6 kV/1 min. in water – class 1
- On the main line side: protection against water ingress into the insulated conductor by means of a waterproof seal
- On the branch side: socket for connecting a surge arrester
- Easy to assemble and safe to use
- A bolt with a shear head provides a tightening torque. Once the head shears, the bolt can be unscrewed
- Compliance with the standard: PN-EN 50483-4:2009
