Electrically insulating gloves
Layered Hand Protection System
CATU electrical insulating gloves are not merely a piece of personal protective equipment, but a fundamental tool for safe work on power lines and substations, adapted to various voltage classes.
A complete, three-piece hand protection system is available in our offer:
- Inner Gloves – Thin cotton gloves, enhancing comfort and workplace hygiene.
- Mid-layer gloves – Electrically insulating gloves (e.g., model GP-…), providing protection against electric shock.
- Outer Gloves – Protective leather gloves (e.g., model CG-…), protecting electrical insulating gloves against mechanical damage.
- Composite Gloves – Guaranteeing electrical insulation and reinforcement (model CGM-…), these gloves—thanks to their shape, softness, and uniform thickness—provide excellent wearing comfort. They replace both intermediate and outer gloves, offering protection against mechanical damage and electric shock.
Matching Protective Gloves to the Electrical Insulation Class
To maintain full safety, protective gloves must be selected to match the class of the electrical insulating gloves.
- for CG-981 gloves → Class 00, 0
- for CG-991 gloves → Class 1–4
Each model meets the requirements of the PN 60903 standard, combining a high level of protection, ergonomics, and durability—qualities that are of real significance in daily work.
